Reconditioning 914/6 2lt engine (911T Motor)

When I was reconditioning this engine I could not find in Australia the correct dial gage readings for setting up the cam shaft timming. Although the 914/6 engine is not listed as the same type as the 911T, the dial gauge settings are the same. Do you find this valuable?
